Understanding Otherness is an experimental performance that explores the mental health of othering and belonging through movement, sound, costuming and technology. Audiences can expect a one-of-a-kind evening highlighting the palpable liveness of the performing arts. Additionally, there are opportunities to engage with the creative team throughout the evening to discuss the creative process and the content of the performance.

Please be aware, for this performance, there will be flashing and pulsing lights that performers wear on their bodies.

This performance is free to audiences, thanks to Tempe Union High School District and the City of Tempe.
