Did you miss the workshop? No worries, we recorded it for you! In Interoception within the Arts we look into the applications of Trauma Informed Creative Practices (TICP), specifically in devising new works with young people, as a director in a theatre production, and at the organizational level. In each workshop, you will gain insight into the different ways TICP can be modified for different age groups and settings.
A workshop perfect for teaching artists, educators, and administrators who are interested in folding this methodology into their personal, professional, and/or organizational environments. This 3-part workshop is led by Grey Box Collective's founder, Molly W. Schenck & Co-Education Coordinators, Sarah Tan & Chris Weise. Part I is a live recording with an audience member; parts II and III are self-guided workshops.
The workshop series is broken down as follows:
Pt. I: Digital Collaborations with Young People by Sarah Tan
Pt. II: Culturally Responsive Artistic Practices by Chris Weise
Pt. III: Becoming a Trauma Informed Arts Organization by Molly W. Schenck
(Includes bonus video: a live podcast recording with Sarah, Chris, and Molly)
Each session runs from about 40 to 75-mins (varied for each session). You are invited to take your time with the material, pausing or replaying moments in each session.
Upon purchase, you will receive a pdf that will include a link to the recorded videos. We’ve also included a supplementary material with additional resources and space for reflection.
